6-member Male A Capella Vocal Group

Emerging from a course at Millikin University, Chapter 6 became the youngest group to ever qualify for the Chicago-area National Harmony Sweepstakes. After winning that title for three straight years, they captured the national title in 2004. Numerous awards later, this six-man acapella troupe tours across North America and Asia, performing a family-friendly show that features intricate harmonies and first-class stage wit.

Whether a signature piece, such as “Ode to Krispy Kreme,” Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” or the American Idol-featured group’s very own award-winning 8-minute version of “The Wizard Of Oz,” audiences revel in Chapter 6’s superb musicianship and adventurous spirit.

Daniel Rodriguez

Mathews High School Auditorium

America’s Beloved Tenor, “The Singing Policeman” with Piano

Former New York City police officer, Daniel Rodriguez has experienced a meteoric rise to fame. He was one of his department’s designated anthem singers on September 11, 2001, when fate intervened -- he rendered a capella performances of “God Bless America” and the National Anthem that proved far greater than a patriotic gesture. Ringing, heartfelt and beautiful, his performance stirred the hearts of the entire nation.

Since then, he has performed at venues ranging from 2002 Winter Olympics, to Disneyland, to The White House. A pillar of courage and faith, Daniel Rodriguez is truly an inspiration, who freely shares his deep appreciation for life, God and country.

Coyote Run is a national touring act, bringing high energy, literate Celtic Rock to venues across the United States and Canada, Scotland and Ireland. Coyote Run's members are:  David Doersch, Doug Bischoff, Catherine Hauke, and Michael Kazalski. Corey Walden frequently performs with the band, bringing his award winning fiddle stylings to this already kickin' band. Formed in 1999, Coyote Run has been touring successfully ever since. Coyote Run is called 'The Thinking Person's Celtic Rock Band,' because of their über-literate lyrics, their powerful melodies and haunting arrangements.

Coyote Run takes the stage with an arresting power and energy. They have performed at and headlined major Celtic festivals such as: Celebration of Celts (NY), Celtic Fling (PA), Potomac Celtic Festival (VA), Grandfather Mountain (NC), Foothills Highland Games (NC), Sycamore Shoals Celtic Festival (TN), Toledo Irish Festival (OH), Virginia Highland Festival (VA), McHenry Highland Games (MD), Williamsburg Scottish Festival (VA) and more. They have toured Ireland and Scotland to great acclaim.

Coyote Run is a powerhouse band offering far more than just music, they put on a "show" with grace and power that is fun family entertainment that appeals to all generations.

Rudolf Budginas

Mathews High School Auditorium

Piano Virtuoso with Comedic Commentary

Musical Prodigy Rudolf Budginas debuted with the Lithuanian National Symphony at age nine, trained at Moscow Conservatory, and promptly rose to international fame performing solo concerts. After moving to the U.S. in 1994, he discovered his true passion: giving classical music a broader audience appeal.

In his ingenious show “You, Me & the Piano,” Budginas illustrates how classical music has influenced contemporary artists by actually breaking down how Billy Joel might have drawn on Liszt’s “Hungarian Rhapsody” to get “Piano Man.” Famous for audience and humorous aside, Rudolf Budginas takes the audience from “Claire de Lune” to “Rhapsody in Blue” with contagious energy and endless surprises!

Nearly Neil & the Solitary Band

Mathews High School Auditorium

Tribute to the Music of Neil Diamond

In 1994, a legendary path was set in motion when Vancouver-born Bobby Bruce won a talent show with his incomparable impersonation of Neil Diamond. For fourteen years, Bruce has never looked back, playing for thousands of screaming fans throughout North America, Australia, New Zealand and Asia with his dead-on Diamond tribute. Branching out upon his success in the US, Bobby joined Legends of Rock for two tours of Australia. This is where he earned his moniker - the Australian press dubbing him "Nearly Neil" Diamond. His next tour took him to Kuala Lumpur, where he performed for the King and Queen of Malaysia.  Upon returning to Vancouver, he decided to embark upon his own tribute path and leave the impersonation shows.  He formed the Solitary Band and the “Nearly Neil Legend” began.
